Designer Marcantonio Raimondi Malerbareinterpretsthe traditional Japanese Kintsugi technique for the unique and elegant Kintsugi Collection for Seletti. Kintsugi meaning \”golden joinery\” is a technique that uses lacquer mixed with gold powder to repair gold ceramics. The concept of the beauty of imperfection and honouring the history of an object is artfully brought to life in these porcelain pieces which give the illusion of repaired ceramics. Each piece uses 24-caratgold veins to seemingly \”join\” different pieces of porcelain, creating plates and coffee setsthat are classic and groundbreaking at the same time.
